Hello, Blogger!

Well, well, well. I never thought the day would come. After seeing for myself the power that blogger has, I decided that this would be a suitable outlet for own thoughts. To be honest, I had always hoped that I would gather the courage to start any form of online publication by way of my YouTube channel. While I still aspire to do that, I consistently find that the written word is a powerful tool for conveying thoughts and ideas. I need some outlet for my current thoughts, and I need some form of practice for my own writing. What better way than to start a blog? I'm not sure that I will always be coherent, since this should be my own record of what my mind is thinking, but any translation, from one medium to another, needs some form of editing to be made clear. Even this post is a carefully edited version of the more general thought of, "Hey, let's start a blog!". Of course, edited as it may be, it's not really planned out. In fact, every word I'm typing at this moment is on the spot, with no preplanning. I feel that it's probably best that way, although that doesn't mean I won't create a planned post from time to time. That way, I can use this blog not only as a way to express general thoughts, but also to have a medium through which to have long rants or dissertations on a variety of topics. I suppose only time will tell what direction this blog will take, but I'm sure that no matter the outcome, this will be a healthy experience, so let's get the ball rolling!
